For the purpose of this paragraph, a lot which merely adjoins the use site at one corner will not be deemed to abut the site. Notion carried unanimously. NOTE: The Planning Commission feels that the omission of R-B in the original ordinance was an oversight and that service stations when they are in a planned development with apartment buildings should have the same consideration when they abut an R-8 district as when they abut an R-1 district. Motion by Jensen and seconded by Bogucki to recommend to the Village Council that application #64075 submitted by Bruce Morrow be denied for the following reasons. 1. To permit a utility building in the front yard would establish a precedent which would make it difficult to maintain the desired open front yard areas in residential districts. 2. The denial of the petition would not create any undue hardship on the owner as he does have sufficient lot area to comply with the zoning requirements. Motion carried unanimously.
