HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984 10-25 PCP Planning Commission Information Sheet Application No. 84035 Applicant: Lombard Properties Location: 2200 Freeway Boulevard Request: Special Use Permit Extension The applicant requests extended approval of the special use permit granted under Application No. 83045 to build a 13 storey hotel on the I-1 zoned parcel of land north of Freeway Boulevard and east of Shingle Creek. This application was approved on September 12, 1983. The minutes and staff reports pertaining to the application are attached for the Commission' s review. The proposed hotel use is a special use in the I-1 zoning district. Staff do not feel it is necessary to review extensively the site and building plan aspects since no relevant code changes have occurred in the past year. Questions covered at a public hearing should center on the nature of the use itself. In addition to the conditions adopted with approval of Application No. 83045, it is recommended that the following conditions be adopted with this application: 14. A cash escrow, in an amount to be determined by the City Manager, shall be submitted to cover the cost of street cleaning associated with the placement or removal of fill on the site. 15. The applicant shall implement a landscape plan prepared for the City for the Shingle Creek greenstrip area adjacent to the hotel site. Said landscaping shall be completed in conjunction with the construction project prior to the release of the financial guarantee required by Condition No. 5 of the original approval . 10-25-84
