1) The Planning Commission considered Application No.
70018 on May 7, 19*70. At U-Yat time it was suggested
that nursing horaes could be a special use permit
iin an R3 zone. However, this is not the case for
either the !13 or. C2 zoAes. Therefore it is recommended
tilat this parcel be rezoned to R4 which allows
nursing homes as a special use.

2) Applicant states that approximately 35 to 40 persons
will be employed.
3) This is not to be a rest home but a nursing home, licensed
and regulated by the State, where constant' care will bey
available to ambulatory patients. This institution is
also used as a convalescent home.
• 4) The staff reviewed witli the applicant rough preliminary
landscape and site and building plans on Monday., May
25, 1970. Landscaping was considered deficient; it-
was also noticed that there are far too many rooms with.
a 4 bed capacity� There seems to be a lack of Privacy
for most patients.
