Meeting Minutes
November 19, 2013
PRESENT
Cathy Ballot, Councilmember Carol Kleven, Lin Myszkowski and Sue LaCrosse.
Cathy Ballot called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
There was a motion by Cathy Ballot, seconded by Councilmember Carol Kleven to approve the minutes
of September 17, 2013. Motion carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Cathy Ballot reported a checkbook balance of $9,662.99.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Budget/Finance:
Cathy Ballot will sign business letters. Sue LaCrosse reviewed the budget worksheet.
Craft & Business Expo:
Lin Myszkowski will work with vendors on Saturday, June 28. Sue LaCrosse
and Cathy Ballot said they could assist in marking the booth spaces. Sue LaCrosse said she would
facilitate all correspondence with exhibitors.
Kids’ Craft Area:
Sue LaCrosse said we would continue this event.
Face Painting:
Sue LaCrosse will book the face painters.
Family Fun & Games:
Cathy Ballot said she has started purchasing prizes. There was a motion by
Councilmember Carol Kleven, seconded Lin Myszkowski to authorize Cathy Ballot to purchase prizes
up to $500.00 using the checking account. Motion carried.
Fire Truck:
Sue LaCrosse will contact the fire department.
Golf Tournament:
No report.
Honor Our Veterans:
This event will not be held in 2014.
Kids’ Fishing Contest:
Cathy Ballot will check with the police chief about co-sponsoring.
Music/Fireworks:
Sue LaCrosse said she will contact the Capri Big Band.
Parade:
The parade route will change back to Dupont.
Petting Zoo:
Cathy Ballot said they are all set. We don’t need to contact them until after the first of the
year.
Publicity:
No report.

OLD BUSINESS
None.
NEW BUSINESS:
Sue LaCrosse said she has to file our non-profit status with the State. Cathy Ballot will be listed as
president.
NEXT MEETING:Room 221
Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 4:30 p.m., at Community Center.
ADJOURN:
There was a motion by Lin Myszkowski , seconded by Councilmember Carol Kleven to adjourn the
meeting. The meeting was adjourned.
