Minutes: There was a motion by Earl Simons, seconded by Myrna Kauth to approve the minutes of October 16, 2013. Motion carried. Financial Report: Sue LaCrosse reported donations, including in-kind and bricks at $206,246.07. Jim Glasoe reported the City entered into an agreement with Blumentals. The soil borings in the intended location are not good. It will cost more for the support structure, which will likely add to the cost of construction. Earl Simons and Dr. Duane Orn each donated $500 in Phil’s name for the Amphitheater. Earl Simons acknowledged that Phil Carruthers made a pledge of $250. Luther: Dr. Duane Orn said he is still waiting to hear from them. Centaur Foundation: Sharon Kephart reported that George Larson will update the list and will send it to Sue LaCrosse. It is planned we would send a separate mailing providing it meets foundation board guidelines. Paul Hyde: Dr. Duane Orn will arrange a meeting. VFW: Earl Simons will follow up with the VFW. Lang-Nelson: Dr. Duane Orn will follow up. Other: Dr. Duane Orn said he would like to revisit Frank Gatlin and Mike Sims.
