Meeting Minutes
June 23, 1992
PRESENT: Kragness, Dorff, Bergeland, Pollock, Nyquist, Neilson, Ditty, Graham,
Roen, Cohen, Risley, Cummings and LaCrosse.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: There was a correction to the minutes, Holmes &
Graven, $500. The meeting minutes from June 16 were approved with this correction.
AMBASSADORS: The following contributions have been made since the last meeting:
Northport Medical Center, $125; Brookpark Dental, $100; Sears, $100; Firstar, $500.
Cohen said he is concerned about where we are financially.
BARN DANCE: Kragness said all she needs are the hand stamps. Bergeland gave
her the stencils for the beer garden.
CRAFT FAIR: Bergeland said she has received nine calls in the last week from
people wanting to get in the show. There are 50 crafters and 5 food vendors.

FINANCIAL REPORT: Cummings reported a balance of $13, 698.97 as of 6/16/92.
This balance includes the deposits and the checks written on 6/16/92.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Cohen handed out the final program. He said it will be kept
short so that people can enjoy the ice cream and band concert.
JUNIOR ROYALTY: Graham said the junior royalty will be making a presentation
at the meeting today. They will appear on Good Company today.
FISHING CONTEST: LaCrosse said that Dorff delivered the fishing rods donated
by the Zenankos. The contest is all set.
PARADE: Risley reported there are 123 units, 16 bands, and some dancelines. They
are almost ready to go. He will need many checks. He modeled the official parade
volunteer shirt and hat. He said those working with the parade will be wearing these.
PICNIC/GAMES: Dorff said everything is falling into place. He needs workers.
PUBLICITY: People have seen the ads in the Star Tribune and have said they
• stand out. LaCrosse asked members of the board to take and distribute some of the
extra NorthWest News tabloids brought over by Benjamin.
TALENT CONTEST: Neilson said there was an excellent turnout of spectators and
the talent was great. Northwest Community Television taped the finals. LaCrosse said
she thought the event went great. She said there were people from all over the state as
well as Wisconsin. It was a good promotional tool because Neilson and the junior
royalty did a wonderful job of announcing Earle Brown Days often.

There was a motion by Bergeland, seconded by Cummings to pay these bills. Motion
carried.
Neilson said he would like to commend the Earle Brown Days committees who have
made this event possible. He added we have very dedicated people working on the
different committees.
NEXT MEETING: A wrap up meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7 at 7:30
a.m. in Conference Room A. Please bring all outstanding bills.
ADJOURN: The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 a.m.
