The chamber of commerce had booked a band for an event and the event was cancelled. The chamber requested EBD consider the band they booked for this event. This would help out the chamber financially. The band is Et Cetera and the cost is $1,550. Neilson brought in an audio tape of the group. It was decided to hire this band for the dance. The board discussed getting more participation from the chamber. They would like to see a representative from the chamber serve on the EBD board of directors and would like to have some assistance with publicity to businesses. The question is where to have the shuttle bus pick up people. It was decided that in order to have the water show, a sponsor would have to be found. Slupske asked LaCrosse to get a video tape of the water show and the EBD cable ad from last Y ear. OLD BUSINESS: Swanson said the image campaign will kick off with community nights.
