tt Dorff, Cohen Roen Graham
and LaCrosse.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: There was a motion b Neilson seconded b Ditty to

approve the minutes of June 7, 1994. Motion carried.
AMBASSADORS: Cohen will probably get $500-800 more in donations and
maybe reach a total of $5,600-6,000. He said it is important to keep a cash balance. We
have to take into account the City contributes resources, such as security and fireworks.
Some of the events provide income and some of the businesses contribute. If anything
sours, the balance could disappear. Next year we need to tighten up or find other
sources. If he did some phone calling, he could maybe get another $1,000. Cohen said
• we all remember the $5,000 deficit. Maybe Rotary would increase their contribution
next year.
Neilson arrived at 7:42 a.m.
Cohen said we can't handle any big surprises. Kragness said that with the new
procedures and with the way LaCrosse broke down the budget for each event, we know
where the money is going. Cohen suggested getting some outside group to look at our
procedures. He suggested Paul Holmlund. The committee liked the idea.

are 75 crafters and 6 food vendors. The budget was figured on 70. The confirmations

The cost would be $125 for 21/2 hours. None of the $500 has been spent
yet. Set up time is 7 a.m.
