Meeting Minutes
June 10,'1993
PRESENT: Nerburn, Neilson, Kragness, Dorff, Nyquist, Risley and LaCrosse.
Meeting was called to order at 7:35 a.m.
APPROVAL OF M
INTJTES: There was a motion by Dorff, seconded by N Yq uist to
approve the minutes of June 1, 1993. Motion carried.
CA
R SHOW: Nerburn said everything is going good. The flyers have been printed
and will be distributed soon. Nerburn made a request for $35 for a people's choice trophy.
The trophy would have Earle Brown Days on it. Everyone coming to the car show would
receive a ballot. There was a motion by Nerburn, seconded by Neilson to order a 30", 3
column trophy. Motion carried.
• TALENT CONTEST:S Neilson reported there are 36 contestants, 19 will perform on
Monday and 17 will perform on Wednesday. The judges are all set. He will call for
trophies. The cost was $84 last year. Neilson will ask Linda to break down the costs per
event on the invoice.
AMBASSADORS: N ui t
yq s got the list from Cohen. He will follow up with some
of the businesses.
Neilson will talk to winners on appearing at ice cream social, barn dance, and Sunday In
Central Park.
PICNIC/GAMES: Dorff said he has 13 different events, 72 prizes given out for the
games. Target gave $250 in gift certificates. There are also more prizes which will be
given out as door prizes. Neilson asked about a sound system. LaCrosse said she asked
Arnie and it would cost $32 to use the park and recreation sound system. Costs would be
for staff to set up, take down and run. Neilson said he. will firing his. He added we would
still need a portable one down by the games.
Margaret Stewart of Brookdale arrived at 7:45 a.m. Kragness introduced her.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Kragness asked Stewart if everything was set. She said yes.
Kragness said we would like to have the band start playing first to draw people in.
PARADE: Risley reported the lineup is The letters will go out today or
tomorrow. He needs to know how many convertibles to secure. LaCrosse said she thought
Kristen Mann had her own. 16
Graham arrived at 7:51 a.m.
JUNIOR ROYALTY: Graham said they had their second event which consisted of a
tour of Burger King. The float is almost completed and it looks great. Dorff told Graham
to contact Olive Garden regarding the dinner. Graham said she has it on her list. The
children will be on Good Company on June 22.
BARN DANCE: Kragness said everything is taken care of except ordering goodies from
City.
PUBLICITY: LaCrosse passed around posters and fliers. She asked committee
members to distribute to businesses. She also passed around copies of some of the
newspaper ads.

There was a motion by Dorff, seconded by Nyquist to approve payment of these bills.
Motion carried.
