and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2014-129
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE
2015 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center is the
governing body of the City of Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require that a preliminary budget be
adopted for funds using property tax revenues along with the adoption of the preliminary
property tax levy;and
WHEREAS, a preliminary property tax levy of $14,778,030 has been
proposed for adoption the basis for the budget proposed herewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that the following amounts be adopted as the preliminary budget for
property tax supported funds appropriated as follows:

Excess Tax Increment 490,000
Sales Tax—Lodging Tax Gross Receipts 880,000
Licenses&Permits 728,115
Local Government Aid 747,076
Other Intergovernmental Revenues 615,865

Public Safety Service Charges 24,750
Fines&Forfeitures 316,500

The motion for adoption of the forgoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Lin Myszkowski
and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, Kris Lawrence-Anderson, Lin Myszkowski, and Dan Ryan;
and the following voted against same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
