Adjournment Page 1 9-18-07 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER IN THE COUNTY OF HENNEPIN AND STATE OF MINNESOTA REGULAR SESSION October 21, 2014 COUNCIL COMMISSION ROOM CALL TO ORDER The Brooklyn Center Housing Commission was called to order by Chairperson Thorbus at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Chairperson Zachary Marko – Excused Judy Thorbus – Present Kathie Amdahl – Present Ephraim Olani – Present David Johnson – Present Leroy Houston – Present Staff Liaison Jesse Anderson was also present. APPROVAL OF AGENDA There was a motion by Commissioner Amdahl and a second by Commissioner Thorbus to approve the agenda as submitted. The motion passed. APPROVAL OF MINUTES There was a motion by Commissioner Amdahl and a second by Commissioner Thorbus to approve the minutes of the Housing Commission meeting for September 16, 2014. The motion passed. CHAIRPERSONS REPORT In the absence of the Chair, no report was submitted. CITY COUNCIL LIAISON REPORT In the absence of the City Council Liaison, no report was submitted. NEW NEIGHBOR BAG CONTENT LIST The Housing Commission reviewed the list of items included in the new neighbor bags. The following items were determined to be removed.  Volunteer and Sever and Advisory Committee  Charter Commission Volunteers Needed brochure  Foreclosure and Vacant Properties brochure  Watering Restrictions flyer  N.W. Staff Liaison stated that there will be more input needed from the Housing Commission at a later date. ADJOURNMENT There was a motion by Commissioner Amdahl and a second by Commissioner Olani to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed.
