HomeMy WebLinkAbout2008-031 CCRMember Dan Ryan introduced the following resolution and moved its 1 adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2008-31 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE REVISED WATER EMERGENCY AND CONSERVATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is required to update the Water Emergency and Conservation Plan on a routine basis in accordance with the requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Section 103G.291; and WHEREAS, the revised Water Emergency and Conservation Plan, dated October 25, 2006, has been reviewed and approved by the Commissioner of Natural Resources. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that: 1. The Water Emergency and Conservation Plan, dated October 25, 2006, is hereby accepted and adopted for use in managing the City's public water distribution system. 2. The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to provide certification to the Department of Natural Resources regarding adoption of the Water Emergency and Conservation Plan. March 10. 2008 Date ATTEST: Alwi, J c .Ui✓rL City Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Mark Yelich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Tim Willson, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
