RESOLUTION NO. 2008-34
RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR
LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES (LELS) LOCAL 82 (POLICE
OFFICERS) AND THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER FOR 2008
INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated in good faith with LELS Local 82 (Police
Officers) for a Memorandum of Understanding for health insurance contribution for 2008; and
WHEREAS, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit
"A" is a proposed Memorandum of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center approves the attached Memorandum of Understanding with LELS Local 82
(Police Officers) effective January 1, 2008 - December 31, 2008, set forth as Exhibit "A" and the
Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the document on behalf of the City of
Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Dan Ryan
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
