moved its adoption:
EDA RESOLUTION NO. 2015-17
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE
PROPOSED TRANSFER AND CONVEYANCE OF A PARCEL OF
PROPERTY TO THE CITY(340153 d AVE N)
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority of Brooklyn Center,
Minnesota ("EDA") owns a parcel of property described as the North 110.02 feet of the East
142.6 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 10, Township 118,
Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota (Torrens Certificate of Title No. 1353209) ("Subject
Property"); and
WHEREAS, the EDA proposes to transfer and convey the Subject Property to the
City of Brooklyn Center ("City") to enable a land exchange with Lake Point Apartments LLC to
create a public trail; and
WHEREAS, the EDA needs to hold a Public Hearing before acting on the transfer
of the Subject Property to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the EDA of Brooklyn Center,
Minnesota as follows:
1. A Public Hearing regarding the proposed transfer and conveyance of the
Subject Property to the City will be held at the regularly scheduled EDA
meeting on August 24, 2015, which will be held immediately following the
adjournment of the City of Brooklyn Center regular council meeting
scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
2. Staff is authorized and directed to publish the attached Notice of Public
Hearing on the proposed transfer and conveyance of the Subject Property in
the City's official newspaper not later than ten days prior to August 24, 2015.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner
April Graves
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, April Graves, Kris Lawrence-Anderson, Lin Myszkowski, and Dan Ryan;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
