HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-040 CCRMember Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2001-40 RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING SALE OF SAID PROPERTY WHEREAS, the Northbrook Liquor Store will be closed as of March 31, 2001; and WHEREAS, the following items cannot be used in any capacity at the remaining Brooklyn Center Liquor Store; and WHEREAS, a buyer for this property has agreed to provide a certified cashier's check and has offered the City of Brooklyn Center $2500 for following item: Beer Cooler WHEREAS, a buyer for the following item has offered $300: Two-Door Wine Cooler NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the surplus items consisting of the beer cooler and a two-door wine cooler are hereby declared surplus property and are hereby authorized for sale. March 26, 2001 Date i ATTEST: City Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Ed Nelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kay Lasman, Ed Nelson, and Bob Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
