HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-073 CCRits adoption: Member Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION NO. _?,Qnn-73 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NOS. 2000-16, PALMER LAKE PONDS AND 2000-17, PALMER LAKE TRAIL 1 WHEREAS, the 2000 Storm Drainage Utility and Municipal State Aid budgets include $250,000 and $100,000 respectively to construct improvements in the Palmer Lake basin; and WHEREAS, the EDA is considering expending up to $150,000 to fund the construction of a regional storm water, detention pond on the west side of the Palmer Lake basin; and WHEREAS, WSB & Associates, Inc., has submitted a proposal to provide professional services including wetland delineation, EAW, survey, and preliminary and fmal design for said improvements; and 37,066. WHEREAS, WSB has estimated the cost of these professional services to be $35,848- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with WSB & Associates to provide professional services for Improvement Project Nos. 2000-16, Palmer Lake Ponds and 2000-17, Palmer Lake Trail April 10, 2000 Date 1 ATTEST: L/1/dYl ~MAJO~ , City Clerk V'?d Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Ed Nelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, Kay Lasman, Ed Nelson, and Robet't Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
