HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-101 CCRMember Ed Nelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2000-101 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER'S 2000 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM 1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center desires to consider an amendment to the City's 2000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program by reprogramming $27,000 from the Rehabilitation of Private Property Project to the Neighborhood Public Service Project; and WHEREAS, CDBG regulations require that a public hearing be held to consider any amendments to municipal CDBG programs exceeding $10,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the attached Notice of Public Hearing regarding amendment of Year 2000 Statement of Projected Use of Funds for the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program is hereby approved and staff is authorized to publish the notice in the City's official newspaper. Nelson, and Robert Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
