RESOLUTION NO. 2000-113
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING A CONTRACT, IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NOS. 2000-04, 05, AND 06, CONTRACT 2000-C, 73RD AVENUE, HUMBOLDT
AVENUE TO CAMDEN AVENUE STREET, STORM DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS

WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project Nos. 2000-04,
05, and 06, bids were received, opened, and tabulated by the City Clerk and Engineer on the 21st day of
June, 2000. Said bids were as follows:

WHEREAS, it appears that Thomas and Sons is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota that:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
a contract with Thomas and Sons, Inc. in the name of the City of Brooklyn
Center, for Improvement Project Nos. 2000-04, 05, and 06, according to the
plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Engineer.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Kay Lasman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mryna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, Kay Tasman, Ed Nelson, and Robert Peppe;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
