Meeting Minutes
June 16, 2015
PRESENT
Tom Shinnick, Bob Dillon, Lin Myszkowski, Cathy Ballot and Sue LaCrosse.
Tom Shinnick called the meeting to order at 4:34 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
There was a motion by Cathy Ballot, seconded by Lin Myszkowski to approve the minutes of June 2,
2015. Motion carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Cathy Ballot reported a checkbook balance of $22,912.58. There is a deposit of $470.00. Bob Dillon
said the cost of the trophies is $156.09. A check is needed to pick them up. Cathy Ballot said she needs
check requests at the next meeting. For the parade band judges, Aqua Jesters, band stipends, and prize
money are needed. For Saturday, checks are needed for the Lions Club & mini donuts, petting zoo, face
painting, Capri Big Band and Fireworks.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Budget/Finance:
Sue LaCrosse reviewed the working financial spreadsheet. She said we have 12
commercial paid units and one more exhibitor. She said we received a donation from the Women’s
Club of $200.
Craft & Business Expo:
Lin Myszkowski reported there are 22 exhibitors.
Kids’ Craft Area:
No report.
Face Painting:
No report.
Family Fun & Games:
Cathy Ballot is working on getting volunteers. Davanni’s is donating a $65 gift
basket. She got some items from Centerbrook, the liquor store and Bremer Bank.
Fire Truck:
No report.
Golf Tournament:
No report.
Kids’ Fishing Contest:
No report.
Music/Fireworks:
All set.
Parade:
Sue LaCrosse asked who will watch the PA system. Bob Dillon said he will let her know. He
needs tables and chairs for the judges. Sue LaCrosse is checking to see if someone in the recreation
department can deliver the tables and chairs. If so, he would bring over the PA system and pick it up.
Petting Zoo:
No report.

Publicity:
Sue LaCrosse said the Star Tribune ad will be in the newspaper on Sunday.
