HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-188 CCRMember Kris Lawrence -Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2016-188 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK FINAL PAYMENT, PROJECT NO. BUILDING PROJECT PERFORMED AND AUTHORIZING 2014-11, CAPITAL MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Construction Results Corporation of Plymouth, Minnesota has completed the following improvements in accordance with said contract: Improvement Project No. 2014-11, Contract 2014-K, Capital Building Maintenance Project NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that: 1. Final payment shall be made on Improvement Project No. 2014-11, Contract 2014-K, Capital Building Maintenance Project, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount to be paid for said improvements under said contract shall be $3,748,987.82. 2. The final project costs and revenues are as follows: COSTS As Original Award As Final Community Center Contract $3,648,000.00 $3,648,000.00 Contingency $ 50,000.00 Change Order 1 $ 54,259.41 Allowance Overage $ 46,728.41 Subtotal Construction Cost $3,698,000.00 $3,748,987.82 Other Misc. Improvements* $ 122,441.00* $ 0.00 Admin/Le ag l/Engr. $ 310,000.00 $ 283,129.19 Total Project Cost $4,130,441.00 $4,032,117.01 *Budget amount to be carried over for future parking lot improvements that were not completed as part of this project, tentatively scheduled in 2017.
