Also present were City Manager Curt Boganey, Interim Assistant to the City Manager Reggie Edwards, Finance Director Nate Reinhardt, Public Works Director/City Engineer Steve Lillehaug, Director of Business and Development Gary Eitel, Director of Community Activities, Recreation and Services Jim Glasoe, Deputy Director of Building and Community Standards Jesse Anderson, City Attorney Troy Gilchrist, and Michaela Kuj awa-Daniels, TimeSaver Off Site Secretarial, Inc. Mayor Tim Willson opened the meeting for the purpose of Informal Open Forum. No one wished to address the City Council. Councilmember Graves moved and Councilmember Lawrence-Anderson seconded to close the Informal Open Forum at 6:52 p.m. Motion passed unanimously. 2.INVOCATION Councilmember Graves read a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr. as the Invocation in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. day. 3.CALL TO ORDER REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING The Brooklyn Center City Council met in Regular Session called to order by Mayor Tim Willson at 7:00 p.m. 4.ROLL CALL 01/23/17 -1- Mayor Tim Willson and Councilmembers Marquita Butler, April Graves, Kris Lawrence- Anderson, and Dan Ryan were present.
