HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-029 CCRMember Dan Ryan: introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2017-29 RESOLUTION APPROVING A TYPE IV RENTAL LICENSE FOR 2113 55th AVEN WHEREAS, City Ordinance Sections 12-900 to 12-916 set forth requirements for licensed rental properties; and WHEREAS, the property located at 2113 55th Ave N, was issued a Type IV Rental License on August 08, 2016; and WHEREAS, the property qualifies for a Type IV Rental License based on the number of property code violations (11) and validated police nuisance incidents (zero); and WHEREAS, City Ordinance Section 12-901.2 requires a property owner who receives a Type IV Rental License to complete Phase I, II and III of the Crime Free Housing Program; and WHEREAS, City Ordinance Section 12-914.3.c establishes the requirement for Phase II of the Crime Free Housing Program including attendance at a minimum of 50 percent of Owners/Managers Association Meetings and complete security improvements; and City Ordinance Section 12-913 requires submittal of monthly updates. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that a TYPE IV Rental License is hereby approved for the property at 2113 55 th Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN. - February 13, 2017 (/L ATTEST: J&4 Date xw^"— Mayor City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Marquita Butler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Tim Wilson, Marguita Butler, April Graves, Kris Lawrence-Anderosn, Dan Ryan and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
