HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-106 CCRMember koi4 Las rnow',- • moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. g14)(9 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY STATEMENT OF PROJECTED USE OF FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1995 BY REALLOCATING $58,920.06 FROM THE SCATTERED SITE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO THE 53RD AVENUE DEVELOPMENT AND LINKAGE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center, through a Joint Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County, is a participant in the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant program; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center and Hennepin County have executed a Subrecipient Agreement wherein the City agrees to assume certain responsibilities for the implementation of approved community development activities in the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant program; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center held a public hearing on June 23, 1997, to consider public comments on a proposed amendment to the Year 1995 Urban Hennepin County Statement of Projected Use of Funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the' City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the City of Brooklyn Center amends the Urban Hennepin County Statement of Projected Use of Funds for the Year 1995 by reallocating $58,920.06 from the Scattered Site Redevelopment Project to the 53rd Avenue Development and Linkage Project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to execute the required agreements with Hennepin County to implement the subject amendment to the Year 1995 Urban Hennepin County Statement of Projecsed Use of Funds. 6133109-7 Date Mayor ATTEST: 44W City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member &Vyw Band upon vote being taken thereon, the1ollowing voted in favor thereof: Myrna �r Hess, }?dd- leen La rrrndd y, 0e6 A 4, BiTornl kAH l46ran) Robe(+ Pe PPS and the following voted against the same: n tint whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
