The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Brooklyn Center (HRA) met in Special Session
called to order by Chair Tim Willson at 8:43 p.m.
Chair Tim Willson and Commissioners April Graves, Kris Lawrence-Anderson, and Lin
Myszkowski. Commissioner Dan Ryan was absent and excused. Also present were Executive
Director Curt Boganey, Interim Assistant to City Manager Reggie Edwards, Finance Director
Nate Reinhardt, Public Works Director/City Engineer Steve Lillehaug, Director of Business and
Development Gary Eitel, Deputy Director of Building and Community Standards Jesse
Anderson, City Attorney Troy Gilchrist, and Michaela Kujawa-Daniels, TimeSaver Off Site
Secretarial, Inc.

Commissioner Myszkowski moved and Commissioner Lawrence-Anderson seconded to approve
the Agenda and Consent Agenda, and the following item was approved:

Commissioner Graves moved and Commissioner Lawrence-Anderson seconded to adopt
RESOLUTION NO. 2016-01 Establishing a Preliminary Property Tax Levy for the Purpose of
Defraying the Cost of Operation, Providing Informational Services and Relocation Assistance
Pursuant to the Provisions of Minnesota Statutes Chapter 469.033 for the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, for Fiscal Year 2017.
Motion passed unanimously.
2. RESOLUTION NO. 2016-02 APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET
FOR THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF
BROOKLYN CENTER, MINNESOTA, PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA
STATUTES CHAPTER 469
Commissioner Lawrence-Anderson moved and Commissioner Graves seconded to adopt
RESOLUTION NO. 2016-02 Approving the Preliminary Budget for the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Chapter 469.
Motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Graves moved and Commissioner Lawrence-Anderson seconded adjournment of
the Housing and Redevelopment Authority meeting at 8:47 p.m.
Motion passed unanimously.

The undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed Secretary of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority (HRA) of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, certifies:
1.That attached hereto is a full, true, and complete transcript of the minutes of a Special
Session of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) of the City of Brooklyn
Center held on September 12, 2016.
2.That said meeting was held pursuant to due call and notice thereof and was duly held at
Brooklyn Center City Hall.
3. That the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) adopted said minutes at its
September 25, 2017, Special Session.
