HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-021 CCRMember moved its adoption: Ryan introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 2019-021 RESOLUTION AMENDING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LEVY ROLL NOS. 19775 AND 19776 TO PROVIDE FOR THE DEFERRAL OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met, heard and passed upon all objections to the pmposed Special Assessment Levy Roll Nos.19775 and 19776 for the Firehouse Park Area Street and Strom Drainage Impmvements, Project Nos. 2018-01 and 02; WHEREAS, Special Assessment Levy Roll Nos.19775 and 19776 were approved by the City Council on December 11, 2017; and WHEREAS, the City Council has established a pm gram to defer a portion of the special assessments of qualifying persons who are at least 65 years of age or older or who are retired due to pe1manent and total disability whose households meet certain financial limitations, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofBmoldyn Center, Minnesota that the following pmperty is eligible to defer a portion of their special assessment for Impmvement Pmject Nos. 2018-01 and 02, therefore amending Special Assessment Levy Roll Nos, 19775 and 19776 as noted below, Special Assessment Levy Roll No, 1977 5 is hereby amended to reduce the previous amount of $4,353 from the following assessments to the new amount as noted: Pid No, 36-119-21-21-0098 LeyyAmmmt $1,401.10 Defe1rnd.Amount $2,951.77 Interest Rate (%) 4,0 Special Assessment Levy Roll No. 1977 6 is hereby amended to reduce the previous amount of $1,306 from the following assessments to the new amount as noted: PID No, Levy Amount Defe1TedAmount --- 3 - 6- - 1 - 19 - -2 - 1- - 21 ......... -0 _ 0 � 98 ___ $4 _ 2 _ 0. _ 39 G�1��-�Februaiy 11, 2019 ��/� ATTEST: Pt/)J,rJ!l ILL{ te ' Mayor Interest Rate(¾) 4,0 �CiClerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Butler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Butler, Elliott, Graves, Lawrence-Anderson, Ryan and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
