HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-119 CCRMember Graves introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2019-119 RESOLUTION APPROVING LOCAL WATER SUPPLY PLAN WHEREAS, All public water suppliers in Minnesota that operate a public water distribution system, serve more than 1,000 people and/or all cities in the seven -county metropolitan area, must have a water supply plan approved by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). In accordance with State Statue, the City must update the City's Local Water Supply Plan every ten years; and WHEREAS, a Water Supply Plan that receives DNR approval fulfills a water supplier's statutory obligations under Minnesota Statute 13G.291; and WHEREAS, the updated Local Water Supply Plan has been submitted to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for their review and the Plan has been approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1) The Brooklyn Center Local Water September 23, 2019 LA> Date Mike Elliott, Mayor ATTEST: ft,�� �✓� Barb Suciu, City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Graves and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Butler, Elliott, Graves, Lawrence -Anderson, Ryan and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
