HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-144 CCRMember Butler moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 2019-144 RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SRF CONSULTING GROUP, INC. FOR THE BROOKLYN BOULEVARD CORRIDOR PROJECT PHASE 1, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2018-05 WHEREAS, on August 8, 2016, the City Council approved a resolution authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with SRF Consulting Group, Inc., to proceed with and provide the services for the preliminary design, environmental documentation, easement acquisition and final design as required to meet the Federal Aid Project requirements for the Brooklyn Boulevard Corridor Project Phase 1 Improvements (49th Avenue to Bass Lake Road), Project No. 2018-05; and WHEREAS, on May 8, 2017, the City Council amended the Professional Services Agreement with SRF Consulting Group, Inc. in the amount of $107,304.50 to provide professional services for the 51' Avenue/Frontage Road Improvements Project, Project No. 2018-06; and WHEREAS, an amendment to the aforementioned Professional Services Agreements has been negotiated with SRF Consulting Group, Inc., to provide the additional professional services into 2020. Funding for engineering, admiration and legal shall be funded temporarily out of the Capital Improvements Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with SRF Consulting Group, Inc. in the amount of $425,777.53 for the additional professional services for the Brooklyn Boulevard Corridor Project Phase 1 Improvements. Butler, Graves, Ryan, and Elliott and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
