Lamar Mr: Lindman:
Last year, I called your attention to the disqTace and eyesore by the
Phillips 66 station wnirh is located adjacent to my property.
We have lived there °^r 'he past seven years anr. I believe our taxeoq
have always !,een paid and we have been continuously spetidiiig 01ur
money to improve our property as well as creating a ciQasa.nt home
and surroundings to attract other people to select rookl n Center
as their horse. I believe that the Cotsicil is of the same opinion
as we are and that probably are a little lax in seei:j, to it that
certain regulations are not kept in force. One in Particular is
the parking of !-.rucks directlti in front, of our horse weekends., over
nip-ht and dirinv. .he clay continuously. This we would like to have
stooped immediately.
I also feel that tiie council shoulr' P)e consciows of the fact that this
station has numerous damaged second hand cars which look like a grave
yard which you would find along the highway. The peoplE twrat own this
station are not only using thiE property for a dung, but are using part
of my property for the same nnrpose on which we are paying; the taxes.
I feel that an investigation shoild be made immediately as some of TV,
neighlors feel the same as I that this eyesore si;o,il~ e cleaned up.
1 would appreciate an immediate re ly to tt,is letter as 1 for one am
%ell. pleased with .rooklyn -,enter, but not in favor of creating a
,lumping grounds where they are not s-Lpposed to be.
