SUBJECT: Spetinl Use Permit - 6400 Willow Lane
DA>.TE : July 23, 1966
I hVe inspected the house at 6400 Willow Lane in view of a change in
its use classiiicati+an to a t.vo family dwelling and I xij:d the follow .ng
conditions:
1) The floor area in each of the two levels exceeds the
minimum requirements;
2) The rnriber of exits or means cf egress are sAt_Is_actory:
3) The ceiling height conforms tv code requ:irerents;
4) The light and ventilation is sufficlent for the living
coon but is not adequate for the bedrooms or the kitchen;
S) A inechonical vautilator could be installed in the bathroom
to comply with the Building Cade:
6) There are some non -conforming conditions that should be
changed, such as: the grease pit in the garage should he closed,
a 6 inch high concrete curb should be installed arcithd the
stairwell, s guard rail should be ir_stciled mou ld the s•(,a:i
and -there should be a one-hou'r fire resistive separation
between the house and the garzige.
The non -conforming conditions hnu(: beer al3owed to cantinue, because
he original structure ijas built and occupied prior to tie adoption of
the code araendmants but compliance with t6 code could be one of the
coaditions of the special use permit or if conformance to all requirements
seems uz- easorab7c, variances could be reproved.
