NOTICE OF HEARING
ON PROPOSED PRELIMINARY PLAT
CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Brooklyn Center on the 16th of August, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall, 6301 Shingle
Creek Parkway, to consider the proposed preliminary plat to be known as Bri Mar Addition for the property described as follows:
Lot 1, Block 1, Velie Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Part of the above being registered land as evidenced by Certificate of Title No. 719063.
Note: The Torrens portion being more particularly described as follows: That part of Lot 1, Block 1, Velie Addition embraced within tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 370 and Tract
A, Registered Land Survey No. 595.
AND
That part of Lot 2, Block 1, Chrysler Realty Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying Southeasterly of Line 1 described below.
Line 1 is described as beginning at the intersection of the most Southerly Southwest line of said Lot 2 with a line lying 26.25 feet Southeasterly of and parallel with Line 2 described
below; thence North 55 degrees 26 minutes 39 seconds East, along said parallel line and its Easterly extension, a distance of 133.26 feet; thence North 66 degrees 39 minutes 36 seconds
East a distance of 69.49 feet to an angle point in a Northeasterly line of said Lot 2 and said Line 1 there terminating.
Line 2 is described as commencing at the most Southerly corner of said Lot 2; thence on an assumed bearing of North 36 degrees 46 minutes 15 seconds West, along the most Southerly Southwest
line of said Lot 2, for 292.11 feet to the actual point of beginning of the line being described; thence North 55 degrees 26 minutes 39 seconds East for 112.28 feet and saidj line there
terminating.
This property is more commonly described as 6800 Brooklyn Boulevard
Said proposed preliminary plat has been submitted by Herbert A. Margolis for Preliminary Plat approval to combine and divide property along Brooklyn Boulevard between I-94 and 69th
Avenue for the reconfiguration of the Brookdale Dodge and Ryan Olds Properties. .
