On the January 13, 2003 City Council Agenda is Planning Commission Application No. 2002-018 & 2002-019 submitted by McDonald's Corporation requesting Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment
to modify the original Planned Unit Development approval and agreement to be allowed to construct an otherwsie non-permitted convenience food restaurant at the southeast corner of 66th
and Camden Avenues North and a request for Site and Building Plan approval for a 4,300 sq. ft., 90 seat McDonald’s restaurant at the southeast corner of 66th and Camden Avenues North.
Attached for your review are copies of the Planning Commission Information Sheet for Planning Commission Application No. 2002-018 & 2002-019 and also an area map showing the location
of the property under consideration, various site and building plans for the proposed development, the Planning Commission minutes relating to the Commission's consideration of this
matter and other supporting documents.
This matter was considered by the Planning Commission at their December 12, 2002 meeting and was recommended for denial by the Commission through adoption of Planning Commission Resolution
No. 2002-05.
It is recommended that the City Council, following consideration of this matter adopt the attached resolution reflecting the Planning Commission’s recommendation to deny the application.
It should be noted that the 60 day time frame for the City Council to act on a zoning decision expires on January 13, 2003.
