On the November 14, 2005 City Council Agenda is Planning Commission Application No. 2005-015 submitted by The Luther Company Limited Partnership a request for rezoning from C-2 (Commerce)
to PUD/C-2 (Planned Unit Development/Commerce) of three contiguous lots located easterly of Brooklyn Boulevard between I-94 and 69th Avenue North and development plan approval through
the PUD process for a two phase redevelopment and expansion of the Brookdale Dodge automobile dealership and the former Ryan Olds property
Attached for your review are copies of the Planning Commission Information Sheet for Planning Commission Application No. 2005-015 and also an area map showing the location of the property
under consideration, various site and building plans for the proposed development, the Planning Commission minutes relating to the Commission's consideration of this matter and other
supporting documents.
This matter was considered by the Planning Commission at their October 27, 2005 meeting and was recommended for approval through Planning Commission Resolution No. 2005-03.
It is recommended that the City Council, following consideration of this matter, approve the application subject to the conditions recommended by the Planning Commission. A resolution
outlining the history of the application along with findings and conditions of approval is offered for the City Council’s consideration. An ordinance describing the property being rezoned
is also offered for the Council’s consideration.
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the resolution and, by motion, approve the first reading of the ordinance amendment describing the property to be rezoned.
