October 27, 1976
Mr. Roger F. Newstrum, President
Brooklyn Center Industiral Park, Inc.
6100 Summit Drive
Brooklyn Center, MPS 55430
Dear Mr. Newstrum:
This is in response to our recent telephone conversation and your letter
of October 21, 1976, regarding the B. C. I. P.-sponsored seasonal storage
of boats in a portion of Speculative Building No. 6, 6300 Shingle Creek
Parkway. It is our determination that the proposed temporary activity
under the auspices of the owner, is within the intent of the ordinance
and the City Council approval for use of that space (Application No.
75046, which was originally submitted by G. A. F. Corporation). The
approval of this use is subject to the following:
1) The use involves temporary seasonal storage of privately
owned boats.
2) The space involved is a portion of the area compreheLddd
under Application No. 75046.
3) The use is under the auspices of B. C. I. P. as owner of
the premises.
It is understood that any other warehousing and storage use in this or
other buildings in the I-1 district requires a special use permit before
such uses are established.
Sincerely,
Blair Tremere
Director of Planning and Inspection
