Re: Proposed Firestone Store - S.W. Cor. Xerxes Ave., N. and
55th Avenue, N. - Brooklyn Center, Minn.
Dear Mr. Foss:
We are attaching to the original and duplicate copies of this letter,
a print of our Plan No. 980, A -A, dated 12-9-66, and last revised
January 187 1968, to comply with your suggestion to our Mr. R. P. Nordell;
namely, to indicate a solid row of 22 cars of parking along the west side
of our premises, and to indicate by dotted lines the installation of a
30 ft. wide driveway 100 ft. south of the north driveway, which driveway
installation would eliminate the parking for 4 cars. We have also
indicated by solid lines the 2 cars of parking along the south side of
our building and then have added a note that, at the beginning of our
occupancy this area south of the building will be a green strip instead
of the 2 cars of parking.
Our detailed building plans which will soon be submitted to the
pity Building Department for approval, will show the second 30 ft. drive-
way and will show the green strip south of our building.
We hereby request your approval for us to install the second 30 ft.
driveway and the green strip south of our building at the time we
construct the building, and we hereby agree that if the City should later
determine that there is not sufficient parking on our premises for the
operation which we are conducting thereon, that we will, if requested by
the City, close up the said second 30 ft. driveway so as to provide 4
additional parking spaces at that location, and if requested by the City,
we will pave the green strip area south of the building so as to provide
two cars of parking in that area.
If the arrangement stated herein is acceptable to you, we would
appreciate your signing where provided at the bottom of the duplicate
copy of this letter and return it to us.
Verytrulyyours,
t,
H. C. Hunt, Assistant Manager
