The new owner apparently feels that his restaurant can better be served by two signs, one on each side of the building, than with a single freestanding sign on the corner of 56th and Xerxes. If the two signs are approved, the sign presently on the corner would be removed. POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED: 1) The signs proposed would be installed immediately adjacent to the north and south sides of the steeply slanted roof of the restaurant. The peak of the roof is approximately 26 feet .in height, and aithoucrh no height is specified for the two signs, the applicant has indicated that the two signs world not exceed the height of the peak, thereby utilizing the roof it -self as a background for the sign.
