BACKGROUND-.
1) Mr. Bernu applied for a rezoning of this property from
R-1 to R-B for the purpose of constructing an office
building on the property. The Council, while agreeing
with this type of zoning for the property, did not grant
the R-B zoning, but is instead zoning the property
(and the property to the south) to the new C-1 (Service/
Office)classification, which will permit the office
construction proposed.
