HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-096 CCRMember Elliott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2020-096 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NOS. 2021-08, 09, 10 AND 11, RYAN LAKE INDUSTRIAL PARK AREA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City's Capital Improvement Program identifies specific streets for proposed infrastructure improvements in 2021; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the scope of proposed improvements for the Ryan Lake Industrial Park Area; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to begin the process of info�rnation gathering and solicitation of public comments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that. 1. Improvement Project Nos. 2021-08, 09, 10 and 11, Ryan Lalce Industrial Parlc Area Street and Utility Improvements are hereby established. 2. Staff is directed to begin field work, contact property owners in the neighborhood to obtain comments and input and hold public informational meetings for property owners in the neighborhood where improvements are proposed. 3. The City Engineer shall prepare a project feasibility report for review by the City Council in the winter of 2020. 4. Estimated project costs for preliminary field work, geotechnical investigations and sewer televising costs are as follows: COST AMOUNT Televising $ 5,000 Field Survey $ 155000 Geotechnical/Drainage Investigation $ 10,000 Preliminary Design and Plan Prep. $ 90,000 Estimated Costs Total $1205000 RESOLUTION NO. 2020-096 REVENUES Sanitary Sewer Utility Fund Water Utility Fund Storm Sewer Utility Fund Street Reconstruction Fund Estimated Revenues Total October 26 2020 Date ATTEST: i,iiCi Ile City Cleric $ 19,000 $ 27,000 $ 22,000 $ 5200 $ 120,000 Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Ryan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Butler, Elliott, Graves, Lawrence -Anderson, Ryan and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
